About Us

FISH LOCAL. EXPLORE LOCAL. VACATION LOCAL.

Fourth Island Charters gets its name from the "fourth" US Virgin Island...Water Island. Although most have never even heard of this little paradise; it was the last island to become a US territory on December 12, 1996.

With roughly 491 acres and no more than 100 full time residents, Water Island is the smallest of the USVI territories. It is the birthplace of one of the owners and where the company was established in 2017.

We are conveniently located in Crown Bay Marina. This is walking distance to the Crown Bay Center cruise ship port and shopping center. Less than a mile away is the Charlotte Amalie harbor; loaded with restaurants, sites and attractions.

Why go with us

LOCALS DO IT BETTER

More than likely, you are not from the Virgin Islands and maybe have never been...and looking for the right excursion company can be overwhelming. May sound crazy, but wouldn't you trust someone who was born and raised in that area to take you around? Same here.

Our owners and crew are VI born and raised or have been in the islands for years. They know these waters and destinations better than anyone.

SUPPORT THE LITTLE GUYS

We are a small business who takes care of you. With the big guys, the personal touch is sometimes lost or you are in a sea of people (literally). We create a private experience for each guest based on your needs and preferences, so you don't feel like just another tourist.

WE CARE ABOUT YOU AND OUR ENVIRONMENT

As part of the Virgin Islands Clean Coasts, we are one of the only eco-friendly charter companies. We use marine safe cleaning products, only allow reef safe sunscreens, and provide reusable cups onboard. We pride ourselves on following all fishing regulations and keeping our marine life thriving.

Our number one priority is keeping our guests safe. To ensure your safety, we hand select reliable captain/crew in the area, only work with trusted partners, and maintenance our boats/equipment regularly.
